The HMPA and HHPA Series of Medium Power Millimeter Wave Amplifiers cover the range
from 8 to 100 GHz. A wide variety of gain and bandwidth combinations provide the
designer with a solution for most applications. Output power at 1 dB compression
up to +30 dBm and beyond is available. MMIC technology is employed for high reliability
and repeatability.
The millimeter wave amplifiers can be used as gain blocks in LO chains and test
equipment, and in transmitters for communication and radar systems.
Custom designs are available and in most cases, NRE is not required. Multiple stages
can be combined to increase gain. Gain of 40 dB has been obtained over 50-60 GHz.
Driver amps can be combined with power amplifier stages to obtain high gain, high
P1dB output power amplifiers.
The millimeter wave amplifiers can be integrated with mixers and other components
to form custom subassemblies for specific applications.
Each power amplifier contains a voltage regulator and bias sequencing circuitry
allowing the use of a single bias to power the unit.
